Strength and conditioning for youth athletes that want to improve sports performance should be about building the key components for creating body control, and will lead to speed and strength in their sport.

Four key pillars to a strength and conditioning program with Kristin Tullo Fitness sports performance doesn’t just look like ladder drills. In each session, no matter your age, sport, or skill level we focus on:

  • Full body strengthening (lower, upper, core)

MINDSET TRAINING

From a young age we learn sport specific skillsets that are needed to play a sport.

But what happens when you’re in a pool of athletes with the same athletic ability as you, fighting for a the final spot on the roster?

What happens when an injury, or something else beyond your control prevents the playing time you think you deserve?

How will you separate yourself and define the player you are capable and ready to become?

Creating a strong mental game for athletes starting at a young age is one of the priorities of Kristin Tullo Fitness.

Some of the common concerns that I’ve seen after 10 years of working with athletes and their parents, that often go ignored:

- Players that were leading their team in points, but still lacking confidence.
- In-game nervousness and anxiety, despite practicing at 100%.
- Stressed over playing time.
- Losing sleep and feeling anxious before big, important games.
- Comparing themselves to teammates and feeling unnecessarily competitive with them.
- Unable to take feedback from Coaches without going into a negative headspace.

Our five core areas for mindset training with youth athletes focuses on:

  • Self-Talk

  • Overcoming the perfectionist mentality

  • Defining expectations

  • Creating process vs outcome oriented goals

  • Daily tasks to create and maintain confidence

Youth Athlete Sports Performance Training Pricing:

Private Training ages 10-18: $65 per 45 minute session.

Semi Private Training (2-5 athletes) ages 10-18: $45 per athlete, 45 minute session.
